Medical & Counseling Resources
Wellness is more than the absence of illness. Rutgers Student Health takes a comprehensive approach to health and wellness by providing care and support to our students’ minds and bodies during their time here at Rutgers and preparing them to manage their health and wellness after they graduate. Help is available and we are a community that cares. We encourage students to reach out and utilize our medical and mental health resources. Visit our website for all the services and resources. We have 24/7 Crisis & Resources and campus support resources for non-crisis situations through Counseling, Alcohol & Other Drug Assistance Program & Psychiatric Services (CAPS)

Health Education and Promotion
For many, college is the first time you’re taking responsibility for your own healthcare needs. It could be the first time you have to decide if you need to see a doctor or the first time you make a medical appointment or decide to see a counselor. It’s important to know what is and is not normal for your own body, to maintain a basic understanding of common medical conditions, and to develop a toolkit of coping mechanisms that work best for you in various situations. Check out these resources.

Rutgers Recreation
We support the health and well-being of our students and we are commitment to enhancing the mind, body, and spirit of our students by providing programs, services, and facilities to meet the physical, social, recreational, and educational needs of the campus community. Check out our website!
